I have a titanium 2000m Aquatimer that is almost 20 years old, has never been serviced, and keeps perfect time. I bought it because the design was more spartan and subtly elegant than a Rolex Submariner.

Mine represents British understatement. Others have Rolex or Patek Philippe, my watch generally draws fewer comments but I can wear it every day. A Rolex attracts thieves & Patek get left in a safe, because one of those could lose you an arm.

Have the big pilot for 8 years and counting. Was my grail when I first laid eyes on it. Worked really hard on owning it and definitely the favourite piece that always finds wrist time on me.

Agree. Mine has been 5 times in service in the first 10 years. IWC says it’s normal…
