I should have bought a moon swatch instead of the re deal. After 1 1/2 years of ownership my sapphire sandwich Speedmaster had bee at Omega for 4, going on 5 months, for repair. That is unacceptable. Shame on Omega!
Dearb Nicholas, unfortunately I have the same problem. It is surprising how a new watch has to go for repair (a screw has been unscrewed and can be seen through the sapphire glass) while under warranty. I honestly can’t understand this.

When you pay too much, you lose a little. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot – it can’t be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better. Regards – Peter

It ruined an iconic watch by piggy backed with a quartz and plastic junk. The new generation of watch collectors are not that naive and ignorant liked you think so they would not fall for your scam.

Quite a Joke. Not worth the Hype.

The moon and apolo watches don’t have a date and are non automatic.
I prefer the Omega’s with this complication.
The moonwatch do have a date and a moonphase. See caliber 1866.

The idea was a great one: to build up hype and demand for the original Moonwatches, but the execution was lacking. The quality of the product did not marry up to the price point.

They did it right!
