A great read, thank you. I have a number of Seiko watches, some Seiko mods, and a few Grand Seiko’s. When I’m unsure, I always end up with the Shunbun on my wrist. It’s just so beautiful that I can’t resist.

Which reference is the presage in the first picture (together with the GS)?

Hi David, it should be the Seiko Presage Limited Edition SJE073J1 in the picture.

Recently had my Seiko Sportmatic rebuilt-new crystal replaced some parts and new seal. Bought it in 1968 when I arrived in Vietnam-has never stopped running, even after I put it in a drawer and stopped wearing it for a while. Wearing it now-great watch!

Love my Seiko; has not left my wrist for over 30 years except when changing the battery. It has provided unrivalled time keeping and cant bear thinking if everbparting from it.

Well written and in depth! I wouldn’t call it a debate. I would say “both, and.”
