A good informative article. Although I am in a big dilemma whether to go for PRX Powermatic 80 or range equivalent Seiko. I already own one PRC 200 Powermatic 80(23 jewels) and recently became aware of the plastic like escapement used in it. Kindly enlighten. If not PRX then what is a worthy contender automatic at this price point. Ideal would be a sapphire crystal, 35-40 mm dial with 20 atm (if not then 10 atm would also tick my boxes).
