Of all the chronographs I’ve owned or handled, the 6139 has been my favorite – as simple as it might seem from the outside (especially on account of its lack of a running-seconds function), there’s a good bit happening underneath, making the watch great to live with on a day-to-day basis. It’s also (mostly) an “approachable” classic from a cost standpoint, compared to other vintage mechanical chronographs.
