I’d buy a bunch of Soviet watches and spend what’s left over on a new dishwasher, washer and dryer

The Grand Seiko photo is weird. The model is wearing it on his hand but upside down. The photo is from the front but his hand is inside his trouser pocket and the watch face is fronting the audience instead.

Interesting that not a single IWC was mentioned.

I have owned three of these. Rolex GMT, Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch and the Omega 300, several versions off. Really regret selling them, especially the Rolex.

I would buy the gold Piaget polo of the 80s square model.

I really don’t understand posts like this.
“A new GMT-Master II would set you back just more than 10K €.”
I mean, this is chrono24. You all KNOW that watches like this are unobtainium, and only VIP flippers can buy many/most of these watches for this price. Even chrono24 lists the Batman as averaging around 16-18K (USD), and the Pepsi is more like 22K
“ten great options that you could buy for 10,000 €”
No.. no you couldn’t.
Why not publish an article that actually represents what people can buy, or even more interesting, what they can’t and why?
