Great article to bring to the fore and clarify a segment within a segment. I am a massive fan of Luminox. I went through a civilian version of US Navy SEALs training in 2012, and I religiously wore Luminox all throughout the training leading up to it and the event itself. Thank you for giving these watches the light of day on here.

I am surprised and disappointed that Marathon was not mentioned in this article. Marathon has been under contract providing watches to various militaries including United States and Canada.

Lovely – Although I miss the beautiful Zenith CP-2 A. Cairelli of the Italian Air Force in the line-up… That was a beauty!

These are Military STYLE watches, not military and you did not even mention the Hamilton Khaki range, who made their name on genuine military watches

Some nice watches I wasn’t even aware of. The Sinn and Bulova are particularly smart

Disappointed really

Didn’t even mention the Hamilton Kharki field watch or Oris Big Crown

I had a Tutima M2. Sold it to finance a Panerai. Always regretted it.

I would have included the SeL watch. By self-promotion, the most rugged bit of kit commercialy available.
